Renee M. Rutter, 44, of Frederick, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at her home, with her family by her side.

Born on March 27, 1980, in Wheeling, WV, she was the daughter of Floyd Carter and Donna Regolli and the wife of Christopher M. Rutter, her husband of 11 years.

Renee was a devoted mother and wife. She spent most of her adult life educating children which brought her great joy and left her feeling accomplished. She would never say no to time with friends, taking on a project or volunteering at her children's school, and loved sitting around the fire on camping trips. Renee embraced life with open arms, her infectious joy and radiant smile brightening every room she entered. Her boys were what made her heart beat. She showered them with unwavering love and encouragement, crafting unforgettable memories. She was a social butterfly that loved exploring new adventures and sharing laughter with friends.

Surviving in addition to her parents and husband are children Caiden Yoder and Weston Rutter; sisters Jennifer Perry and Anita Bell; brother Bryan Carter; grandmothers Matilda Carter and Lucille Regoli; step-mother Patti Carter; step-father Bryan Regoli; aunt Irene Harvey; and step-brothers Donny Wack and Cody Wack.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
