Regina Rohrer
August 20, 1935 — November 19, 2019
Regina Ann Rohrer, 84, of Sharpsburg, Maryland, passed from this life after a long illness on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Meritus Health Care Center in Hagerstown, Maryland. She is survived by her beloved husband Bob L. Rohrer. They were married September 8, 1956.
Born on August 20, 1935, in Shepherdstown, WV , she was the daughter of the late Robert O. and Ada M. (Lucas) Myers.
Regina was a 1953 graduate of Shepherdstown High School and a graduate from Washington County Hospital School of Nursing in 1956. She worked for several years at Washington Co. Hospital as an RN and then retired from the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV after 36 years of service. Regina was a lifetime member of New Street United Methodist Church in Shepherdstown, WV. She was also a member of AARP and NARFE.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Thomas R. Rohrer and wife Suzann and Ken L. Rohrer; grandchildren David T. Rohrer and Victoria J. Rohrer; sister-in-law Maxine Rohrer Palmer and her cousin Frances Lucas Nethken of Culpepper, VA.
The family will receive friends at Bast Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro on Tuesday,November 26, 2019 from 7-9PM.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 1PM at Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg, MD.
