Rebekah "Becky" Morgan Schultz, 32, of Walkersville, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She departed this life peacefully and surrounded by her family. 

Born on January 12, 1991, in Frederick, Becky was the daughter of David Schultz and Noreen (Sowell) Schultz of Walkersville, MD. Becky was a passionate person, a fierce friend, and a loving member of a close-knit family. 
 
From an early age, she enjoyed baking and cooking with her family. Becky grew up as a member of 4-H. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, going to the beach, taking care of family pets, listening to music and spending Sunday afternoons with her family.  

Becky was a graduate of Walkersville High School, Class of 2009. In 2013, she earned her Associate’s degree from Frederick Community College in Applied Science and completed the Medical Assistant Program. 
 
During the last year of her life, Becky was dedicated to improving her life, her health and her relationship with God. She and her family were very proud of the steps she took to better herself. 
 
In addition to her parents, she is survived by siblings, Kelly Schultz and husband Chris Canales, Erin Greene and husband Colby, and David Schultz Jr.; two nieces and a nephew, Emma Greene, James Greene, and Evelyn Canales who knew her as “Aunt Bebe”; grandmother, Nancy Sowell; aunt and uncles, Norman "Butch" Sowell, and Suzanne Sigler and husband, Marty; and two cousins, Rachel and Jacob Sigler.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Norman Sowell, Albert W. Schultz Sr., and Patricia Ann Schultz.
 
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick.
 
Memorial donations may be made in Becky’s name to the Johns Hopkins Hospital Nurses in honor of the outstanding care and dignity they provided her, especially while in the MICU. https://secure.jhu.edu/form/fjhm
