Raymond Everett

Raymond Fredrick Everett, 97, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, April 12, 2024 at his home in Baltimore, Maryland.

Born May 4, 1926 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, he was the son of the late Raymond Stanley and Viola Pearl Eckrote Everett.
 
He proudly served with the United States Navy during WWII in the European, Atlantic, Mediterranean and Pacific theaters. He was awarded the European Theater Ribbon (2 stars), American Theater Ribbon, Pacific Theater Ribbon, and the Victory Medal.
 
 
He was a member of the Sharon Masonic Lodge #182, Reisterstown, where he was a Past Master in 1983; Boumi Shrine, Columbia Masonic Lodge #58, Frederick; American Legion, FSK Post #11, Frederick and Life member of FVW Post 3285, Frederick, past president of gun club, past president of Aslaks, past president of Catonsville Shrine, secretary and treasurer of many Shrine Clubs.
 
He was also a former member of Boumi Clubs, Ambassadors, Aslaks, Campers, Catonsville Shrine, Gun Club, Kights of Mecca, Ocean city Shrine, Scimeter Club, Towson Shrine and Western Maryland Shrine; Western Maryland Scottish Rite and Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
 
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Comer Everett, children, Michael Everett and wife, Janet, of Frederick; Lois Roney and ex-husband, Dennis, of Frederick; and Raymond Everett and wife, Linda, of Woodbine; grandchildren, Rodney Everett, Jacqueline Berry, Michael Everett, Jennifer Hart, Brian Roney and Brittney Everett; great-grandchildren, Joshua Berry, Justin Berry, Jessica Berry, Kaleb Everett, Shane Everett, Aden Everett, Haley Everett, and Andrew Hart. He is also survived by his sister, Jean Gray of Fountain Valley, California. Especially remembered is Evelyn Louise Comer HubIak, dedicated friend Debbie Golamb, and Savannah Meyers.
 
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Mae Everett on April 11, 2018, daughter, Illah May Everett on April 21, 1984; and siblings, Lois Everett, Betty Pearson, Robert Everett, Nancy Torrealba, and William Everett.
 
The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 12:00 pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, Maryland.
 
A celebration of Raymond's life journey will take place at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the funeral home, Rev. Tim May will officiate.
 
Burial services will be private at the request of the family.
 
Memorial donations may be made to The Shriner's Patient Transportation Fund.
