Mr. Ray W. Young, Jr. 86, of Frederick died on Tuesday June 4, 2013 at Northampton Manor Nursing Home, Frederick. He was the husband of the late Beryl Louise Young.
He was born on October 14, 1926 in Altoona PA. He was the son of the late Ray W. Sr and Lois Young.
He enjoyed music and playing the violin and saxophone.
He was a member of Frederick Church of the Brethren
He is survived by his children Michael Young and wife Peggy and Carolyn Louise Young. Grandchildren Daniel, Kayla, Ashley and Travis. He was preceded in death by his son Roger Eugene Young and his sisters Marian and Martha.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Sunday June 9, 2013 at the Stauffer Funeral Homes P. A., Frederick. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday June 10, 2013 at the Frederick Church of the Brethren, 201 Fairview Avenue, Frederick. Pastor Tom Fralin will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
