Ray H. Hoffman, age 80, of Frederick, MD, died on Monday, August 18, 2014. Born November 16, 1933 in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Hubert L. and Ethel M. Hoffman.
He was predeceased by four brothers: Austin Hoffman; Joseph Hoffman; Robert Hoffman; and H. William Hoffman; and by four sisters: Evelyn Harris; Betty Draper; Pauline Martin; and Mildred Peri. Ray was the last member of his immediate family. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, including special nieces: Bobbi Stuart; Robin Happ; Christy Hoffman; and Judy Draper; and very special great-nieces: Taylor Swain and Kendall Stuart. He was also survived by a special sister-in-law, Patsy Hoffman.
Ray was employed by Airpax until the time of his retirement. He enjoyed socializing with friends at the FSK and Fredericktown Malls and listening to country music. He was also a huge Elvis Presley fan.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
