Randy Hargett

Mr. Randy Scott Hargett, 42, of Creagerstown, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 28, 2013. He was the fiancé of Theresa (Terry) Bowie.

Born May 2, 1971 in Ranson, W.Va., he was the son of Richard (Dick) and Connie Hargett of Woodsboro.

Randy enjoyed bowling, mowing, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He was employed at Southern States of Woodsboro for the last seven years. Randy will be greatly missed by his dog, Mater.

In addition to his fiancé and parents, Randy is survived by his son, Bradley Scott Hargett of Brunswick; daughter, Eleanor (Ellie) Grace Hargett of Keymar; two sisters, Glenda Bussard (Rick) of Monrovia and Tammy Albaugh (Mike) of Keymar; brother, Rick Hargett (Beth) of Brunswick; Terry's children, Richard "BJ" Bowie, Tiffany Bowie, and Nicholas Bowie; their grandson, Bryson Dotson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He also will be remembered by his good friend, Tommy Crum.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday,  August 1, 2013 at New Life Foursquare Church, 5913 Jefferson Pike, Frederick, MD 21703. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 2 from the church with visitation from 12 until 1. Officiating will be the Rev. Timothy S. May, Sr., with Pastor Dave Hendershot assisting.

Interment will follow in Glade Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Brad Hargett, Jeremy Bussard, Jason Bussard, Justin Hargett, Cory Hargett, Matthew Hargett, Richard "BJ" Bowie, and Nicholas Bowie. Honorary bearers will be Hank Baugher, Michael Albaugh, Jr., and Davis Crouse.
