Randolph {Randy} Lee Black

Randolph(Randy)Lee Black,age 73, of Middletown, MD, died suddenly Thursday,February 5, 2009, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Mary
Black.
Born in Pinehurst, NC,he was the son of the late Carson R. and Florence Coon Black.
He was raised as a Baptist.
Randy was self-employed for many years as a residential home builder at his company,
Randy Black Builder.
Randy was an avid fan of auto racing and loved to watch his Washington Redskins. He also enjoyed time spent in his garden tending to his vegetables.
He will be greatly missed by his cat Sadie and his dog Claire.
Besides his wife, Mary Black, he is survived by two children, Patrick Black and his wife Janet, and Kathryn Young and her husband Brian; two grandchildren, Kyle Black and fiance Megan Flook, and Ryan Black; one great-granddaughter,
Lexi Black; five siblings, Millie Cole, Carson R. Black, Jr., Charles Howard Black, Stanley Black and Linda Dunn, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick, MD on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, 7 - 9 pm.
Services:
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00am.
Interment will be at Middletown Lutheran Cemetery.
