Raj Vashishat

Raj Kumari Vashishat was born in Punjab, India on December 16, 1943.  She passed away at her home on July 5 ^th at the age of 76.  Raj was schooled in India and originally wanted to be a teacher.  After getting married and emigrating to the U.S., she chose to become a full-time mother.   She did eventually go back to work and spent over 20 years working in the electronics and food industries.   Raj was a very giving, selfless, person often helping friends and family, taking care of them and offering words of encouragement.    She enjoyed seeing her grandchildren and loved visiting her friends and family.

She is the daughter of Hari Parkash and Suhag Rani Sharma, wife of Harash, mother of Ajay and Angela, and grandmother of Tyrique, Devonte, Ava, and Aaron.   She is also a sister-in-law and an aunt and great aunt of numerous nieces and nephews and a friend to many.   She will be missed greatly.
