Rachel Elizabeth Jennings Dean, 90, of Boonsboro, MD passed away March 1 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.
Born July 31, 1928 in Boonsboro she was the daughter of the late Clyde Brown Jennings and Martha Virginia Kefauver Jennings.
Rachel attended Boonsboro School and graduated with the class of 1946. She retired from Sire Power in Frederick in 1992. Mrs. Dean was a Protestant Faith.
She is survived by two daughters Martha Virginia Wilson and friend, Ernie Hardy, Esther Marie Dean; one granddaughter Leesa Dean Mercer and husband Mike all of Boonsboro. She is also survived by her beloved kitty, Snickers. Rachel was predeceased by her husband Herschel Caple Dean.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11AM at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro.
Interment will follow at Boonsboro Cemetery.
