Rachael Leggett

Rachael Viola (Easterday) Leggett, 90, formerly of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland.
Born on January 16, 1924 in Keedysville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late David S. Easterday and Lena R. (Nicodemus) Easterday.
Rachael was employed for 15 years with L'Aiglon and 21 years with Tischer Associates Insurance Company, both in Hagerstown.
She was a member of the Mt. Briar Church of God in Keedysville.
Rachael is survived by her nephew, Robert E. Easterday and wife Patricia of Boonsboro.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Therane L. Leggett; one sister, Rosalie M. Easterday; and two brothers, Robert S. and Roger E. Easterday.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Rev. Joseph C. Burdette, Sr. will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at the Boonsboro Cemetery.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
