Polly Triplett

Mrs. Polly A. Triplett, 81, of Thurmont, MD passed away Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Holmes Triplett.

Born on September 2, 1933 in Timberville, VA she was the daughter of the late William and Goldie Schaeffer Alexander.

Polly was employed as a teacher for the Park St. Learning Center for 14 years. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Polly enjoyed going to the local Farmer's Market and curves.

She is survived by her sons Robbie Triplett and wife Vickie of Littlestown, PA, Rick Triplett and wife Patti of Thurmont and Mike Triplett and wife Diane of Thurmont; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brothers Robert Alexander of DE and Beverley Alexander of Kensington, MD and William Alexander, Jr. of Woodbine, MD; sister Peggy Alexnder of WA.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 9-10AM where a funeral service will begin at 10AM. Pastor Jeff Shaw will officiate.

Interment will follow at Norbeck Memorial Park, Olney, MD at 1PM.
