Pierce Beachley

Pierce William Beachley, 93, of Ravenwood Assisted Living, Hagerstown, MD passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Meritus Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy Mae (Huffer) Beachley.
Born May 7, 1925 on Clevelandtown Rd., he was the son of the late C. Elmer and Katie Marie (Jones) Beachley.
Pierce proudly served in the U.S. Army as Corporal during WWII. He was stationed in Japan and Philippines. Pierce was a skilled Machinist and worked for Fairchild and Westinghouse Electric.
He is survived by his son Gary L. Beachley and wife Brenda of Keedysville and his sister Naomi M. Fulks of Boonsboro. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother C. Willis Beachley and his sister Marie Wyand.
The family will receive friends at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 6-8PM, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 13 at 1PM. Pastor Tim Fisher will officiate.
Interment will follow at the Boonsboro Cemetery.
