Phyllis "Lorraine" Miller
March 13, 1927 — August 26, 2018
Lorraine Miller, 91, of Boonsboro, MD, passed away on August 26, 2018 at Fahrney-Keedy Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Roscoe Lewis Miller.
Born on March 13, 1927 in Mt. Aetna, MD, she was the daughter late John Hubert and Laura Grace (Shoop) Detrow. Lorraine worked as a Lunch Aide for Washington County Public Schools. She was a longtime member of the Sharpsburg Lions Club and a member of the Beaver Creek Christian Church.
Lorraine is survived by her two sons, Richard Miller and Monte Miller and Marie of Boonsboro, Maryland; grandchildren, Kyle Howard, Monte Q. Miller and Jessie Stine; great-grandchild, Corey Reeves, Kayla Raubaugh and Cameron Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is proceeded in death by her daughter, Shirley Howard; great grandchild, Lauton Miller and seven siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Beaver Creek Cemetery.
