Phyllis Taylor

Phyllis Mae [Davidson] Taylor, 73, of Monrovia, Md., passed away  Monday, Sept. 7, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital,  Frederick, Md.  She was the daughter of the late Henry and Lela Davidson of  Vestal, N.Y . and Bradenton , FL. , and sister to the late Shirley Davidson Oakes, Ellenton, FL.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas A. Taylor of Monrovia, MD and children David C. Dean of Warner-Robbins, GA, Susan S. Long of Martinsburg, WV. and Glenn D. Taylor of Hedgesville, WV; grandchildren, Brittany McGregor, Martinsburg, WV , Madeline Koogle , Frederick, MD; Jennifer Dean, Coral Springs, FL and great grandchildren, Eliana and Miguel Dean of Coral Springs, FL.

She will be fondly remembered by her life -long friend, Phyllis Sickler, Harrisburg, NC and family members Lionel and Judy Taylor, Burke, VA and Ruth Sulynn Taylor of Charles Town, WV.

The family would like to thank her nurses, doctors and technicians of the DaVita Frederick Dialysis Center, on Thomas Johnson Dr. for the excellent care they provided  to her for six years..

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a charitable donation be made in her memory to the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 - 5:00pm on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Stauffer’s Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.
