Phyllis​ ​Jean​ ​(nee​ ​Bath)​ ​Clark,​ ​89,​ ​of​ ​Rockville,​ ​Maryland,​ ​passed​ ​away​ ​with​ ​her​ ​loving​ ​family by​ ​her​ ​side​ ​on​ ​Monday,​ ​September​ ​18,​ ​2017​ ​at​ ​MedStar​ ​Montgomery​ ​Medical​ ​Center,​ ​Olney, Maryland.​ ​​ ​
Born​ ​on​ ​March​ ​29,​ ​1928​ ​in​ ​Washington,​ ​D.C.,​ ​she​ ​was​ ​the​ ​daughter​ ​of​ ​the​ ​late​ ​Philip H.​ ​and​ ​Jane​ ​Petrie​ ​Bath.​

​A homemaker for most of her life, Mrs. Clark worked for the Navy Department in Washington DC until her marriage in 1947. She​ ​was​ happily ​married​ ​to​ ​the​ ​late​ ​George​ ​W.​ ​Clark​ ​​ for ​50​ ​years, until his death in 1997.  She was a long time member of Millian Memorial United Methodist Church, Rockville and  enjoyed caring for and spending time with her family, volunteering at church and going to yard sales with friends.

Mrs.​ ​Clark​ ​was​ ​predeceased​ ​by​ ​her​ ​beloved​ ​son,​ ​George​ ​D.​ ​Clark,​ ​brothers​ ​Walter​ ​Lingebach and​ ​Philip​ ​H.​ ​Bath,​ ​Jr.,​ ​and​ ​sister​ ​Margaret​ ​Hannaway.

Left​ ​behind​ ​to​ ​mourn​ ​her​ ​loss​ ​are​ ​sister​, ​MaryLou​ ​Coffey​ ​of​ ​Florida,; ​daughter-in-law​ ​Elaine Clark​ ​Koehl​ ​of​ ​Frederick,; ​daughters,​ ​Susan​ ​DeLizia​ ​of​ ​Little​ ​River,​ ​South​ ​Carolina​ ​and​ ​Sharon Wright,​ ​of​ ​Waterford,​ ​Virginia,; ​sons​, ​David​ ​Clark​ ​of​ ​Rockville​ ​and​ ​Kevin​ ​Clark​ ​and​ ​fiance Allana​ ​Mason​ ​of​ ​Mt.​ ​Airy;​ ​grandchildren​, ​Christine​ ​Caffey,​ ​Kelley​ ​Smith,​ ​Stephanie​ ​Wright, Benjamin​ ​Koehl,​ ​Stephen​ ​DeLizia,​ ​Christopher​ ​Wright,​ ​​ ​Michael​ ​DeLizia,​ ​Joseph​ ​DeLizia,​ ​and Tori​ ​Clark;​ ​numerous​ ​great-grandchildren,​ ​nieces​ ​and​ ​nephews.​ ​She​ ​will​ ​also​ ​be​ ​lovingly remembered​ ​by​ ​dear​ ​friends​ ​Sue​ ​Petro,​ ​Dolly​ ​Tsang,​ ​and​ ​Jo​ ​Hagner.

A​ ​memorial​ ​service​ ​will​ ​be​ ​held​ ​at​ ​a​ ​later​ ​date.​ ​​ ​
