Phillip Bramhall, 88, of Lovettsville, VA, passed from this life on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, VA. He was the husband of 66 years to Mae Bramhall.
Born on October 18, 1929, he was the son of Charles B. Bramhall and Ardith W. Bramhall. For many years, Phillip and Mae tended the family farm in Lovettsville. He then went on to work for the Virginia State Highway Administration for 20 years as an equipment operator. He was a lifetime member of the Lovettsville Fire and Rescue Company and Lovettsville Game Protective Association. He could often be found hanging out at McDonalds in Brunswick eating his double cheeseburgers and chatting with his friends.
In addition to his wife, Mae Bramhall; he is survived by his daughters, Shirley Webber (Mark), Betty Bramhall; grandchildren, Chris Webber (Karissa), Diane Lamm (Stanley) and Alan Webber (Angie); six great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; his siblings, Earl Bramhall, Russell Bramhall, Evelyn Virts, Dorothy Bramhall, and George Bramhall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Bramhall, and brothers, Alfred and Walter Bramhall.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Maple Avenue, Brunswick, MD. A celebration of Phillip's life journey will be at 1pm on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at the funeral home. Reverend Andreas Armstrong will officiate. Interment will be at Lovettsville Union Cemetery.
