Mr. Phillip Clark Bolling, 70, of Middletown, MD went home to be with the Lord, Monday, February 25, 2013 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He is survived by Betty White of Frederick ,MD. ,and his extended family.
Born on September 18, 1942 in Dunbar, VA he was the son of the late Raleigh B. Bolling, Sr. and Ollie Mae Bolling.
Mr. Bolling proudly served his country in the United States Army. He served as military police, in Berlin, Germany, checkpoint Charlie. Prior to his retirement he worked as a load dispatcher for Potomac Electric Power Co. He enjoyed traveling, hunting and playing Mexican train or rummy cube. Phillip also enjoyed playing the banjo. He loved history, NASCAR and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. Phillip also enjoyed quality food and spending time with his friends and family.
In addition to Betty he is survived by his daughter Yvette Mae Bolling of College Park; brothers Harlis Terry Bolling of Hedgesville, WV, Raleigh B. Bolling and wife Barbara of Adrian, MI; Betty’s children Carole Stitely and husband Jack and children of Tuscarora, MD Gabe White and wife Renee, Venus and Richard Redmond of Frederick; nieces and nephews Lauri Ann Bolling, Robert Terry Bolling, Cayden Morgan Bolling, Kara Bolling Curtis and her children Courtney and Kyle Curtis; grandchildren Jeremy Stitely and Brittney, Jamie Petkovic and husband Nick, Jessie Howard and husband John, Corryn White; great-grandchildren Hailey and Jace Petkovic and one on the way Jaxen Petkovic.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 5-6PM where a memorial service will begin at 6PM. Gabriel White will officiate.
Interment will take place on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 2Pm at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.
