Philip Stambaugh, Jr.

Philip Ray Stambaugh, Jr., 63, of Keymar, Maryland, passed from this life peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

Born on January 2, 1954, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of Philip Ray Stambaugh, Sr. and Shirley (Krout) Stambaugh.

He worked as a welder for AccuBid Excavation in Mt. Airy, MD. for 20 years.  He retired in 2014 and rekindled his love of farming.  His happiest moments were helping his good friend, Jay Wachter with his cows and crops.

He is survived by wife, Jeanne Anderson Stambaugh, daughters, Gina Raye Boliski and her husband, Clayton of Unadilla, NY.,Shelly Rae Trigger and her husband Matt of Walkersville, MD. Grandchildren, Piper Rae Boliski of Unadilla, NY.,and Benjamin James Philip Sandoval of Walkersville, MD.
He is also survived by his parents Philip and Shirley Stambaugh of Spring Grove, PA., sister, Grace Roth and her husband Tim of York, PA.; special friends, Daryl and Annette King of Woodbridge, VA., Kelly and Laurie Stratton of Lothian, MD., Phil Raines of Frederick, MD. and Ray Fogle of New Midway, MD.; many nieces and nephews and Number 1 (Jill Nokes) of Woodbridge, VA.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Stambaugh in 2014.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Walk), 40 Fulton Avenue in Walkersville, MD.

A celebration of Philip's life's journey will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Walk), 40 Fulton Avenue in Walkersville, MD.  Mr. John Rein will officiate.  Interment Private.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to New Midway Volunteer Fire Department, Carroll Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
