Peter D. {Dave} Hess

Mr. Peter D. Dave Hess, 69 of Frederick,MD., went to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 8, 2009, at his home. He is survived by his loving wife Rita Skarbonkiewicz Hess.

Born December 27, 1939 in Frederick, MD., he was the son of Margaret Whisner Hess of Blue Ridge Summit, PA and the late Robert E. Hess.

Peter was the Founder and Chairman of Business Management Company, Inc., BMC Software Dev., Inc, BMC Computer Products, Inc., and PDH Writings, Inc.

He was a faithful member for many years of New Life Foursquare Church and recently attended Cornerstone Fellowship. He served on the Board of New Life Foursquare Church, Board of Frederick Union Rescue Mission, former C E Director at NLFC. and was an infamous storyteller for children's programs. He coached Little League, and H.S. boy and girls basketball at NLCS

Mr. Hess was author of numerous fiction and non fiction novels such as Three Days of Darkness, the Invisible Hero and the bi-weekly newsletter Radical Discipleship.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by two sons Brett Hess and wife Kim, Tim Hess and wife Stacie, Jennifer Beers and husband David and Heather Martin and husband Ben, sixteen grandchildren, two brothers Tim W. Hess and Steve Hess and one sister Jody Wheeler.

He was preceded in death by a brother R. Michael Hess.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, March 12, from 7 - 9 p.m. and Friday, March 13, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.

Services: Services will be held on Saturday, March 14, at 11:00 a.m. from the Lynfield Event Complex, 10142 Hansonville Road, (Route 15 N.) , Frederick, MD
Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick
