Mr. Peter Sawchak, Jr. 77 of Frederick, MD passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife LeNora Sawchak on January 10, 2012.
Born June 16, 1934 in Scranton, PA he was the son of the late Peter and Mary Sawchak.
Mr. Sawchak was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Walkersville.
He is survived by his children Mary Sawchak of South Carolina, Susan Kich of Scranton, PA, LeNora Walsh and husband Kevin of Factoryville, PA and Richard Sawchak and wife Jennifer of New Market, MD, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by a son Peter Sawchak and two brothers.
The family will receive friends at the Calvary Assembly of God, 8234 Woodsboro Pike, Walkersville, MD on Thursday, March 22th from 10:00AM-12:00PM where funeral services will begin at 12:00PM with Pastor John Kenney officiating.
Interment will be at Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton, PA on Friday, March 23 at 12:00PM.
