Peggy L. Rhodes

Peggy Louise Rhodes passed away peacefully at the Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy on March 20, 2023 at the age of 70, with her family by her side. She was born on June 24, 1952 to Ellsworh and Viola (Fogle) Welch at their home.

Peggy was a graduate of Catoctin High School class of 1970.

She loved book sales, yard sales and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.  She especially loved spoiling her grandson.

Survived by her loving husband Clinton of 52 years, sister Pat Reed of Thurmont, sons Tom (Lori) of Hagerstown, Tim (Jessica) of Edgewater, grandson Jack, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

She is preceded in death by her siblings Charlie Portner, Harry Welch, and Mary Waldron.

The family will receive friends  from 10-11 AM on Thursday, March 30 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E Main St, Thurmont, MD on where a Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 AM. Pastor Mark Eyler will be officiating.

Interment will be private.
