Peggy L. (Mose) Rohrer, 76, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed away on Thursday afternoon, June 7, 2012 at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 9, 1936, in St. James, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Lester M. and Mary I. (Colbert) Mose, Sr.
Peggy attended Boonsboro Schools.
Peggy worked all of her life as a Nurses Aide for Home Health Care, providing forty years of care and compassion to those she cared for.
In her spare time, Peggy enjoyed camping and vacationing in Ocean City, Maryland.
Peggy is survived by her special friend of twenty-seven years, Barry Stickler of Boonsboro; a son, Randy Butts and his wife, Pamela of Boonsboro; one grandson, Christopher Butts of Hagerstown, Maryland; a sister, Carolyn (Susie) Keller and her husband, Eldon of Boonsboro; a brother, Robert Mose and his wife, Natalie of Boonsboro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by four sisters, Hazel Barkdoll, Marjorie Kroeger, Kathleen Keim and Ruth McSherry. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Lester Mose, Jr.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Rehab floor at Reeders Memorial Home for their care, love and support during Peggy's care.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2012 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. Rev. R. Thomas Fralin, Jr. will officiate. Final resting-place ceremonies will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Sharpsburg, Maryland.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the funeral home.
