Peggy Gregory

Peggy L. Gregory, age 84, died peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of Sunday, January 21st, 2018.

At her request,  no funeral or formal memorial service will be held.

Peggy was born in Elkins, West Virginia on October 5th, 1933 to parents Edwin Howell, and Stella Kisner, along with two older sisters Dorothy, and Edna. Peggy was married to her late Husband, Eugene Gregory, in 1950.

Peggy spent 30 years working for the Safeway grocery store, where she was well loved by many coworkers, and customers alike. She had a bold personality, and vivacious desire to get herself where she wanted to be, in life. Peggy worked hard for everything she had, and spent much of her time raising not only her own children, but multiple generations of grandchildren, as well. She was the true Matriarch of her family, and she will be sorely missed.

Peggy was preceded in death by her Husband, Eugene, her older sister, Dorothy, and her Granddaughter, Heather.

Peggy is survived by her sister, Edna Wood, and her 2 sons, Charles and Harry Gregory. Peggy also leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even great great grandchildren.

Peggy was a beautiful soul, and expressed true selflessness when it came to helping those who needed it. Our Lord in Heaven has gained a beautiful angel.
