Pearl Gerlich

Pearl Louise Gerlich, 48, of Frederick, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of Henry Gerlich for 28 years.
Born May 17, 1968, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Minnie Houck.
She enjoyed reading, playing Yahtzee, and card games and just relaxing outside with her neighbors when she wasn't spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three sons, Nicholas, Nathan and Ethan; four sisters, Gerri Houck of SC, Veda Hemmingway of PA, Tina Jacob of TN and Lisa Femenia of MD; three brothers, Joe Mathis, Albert Drieslein and August Drieslein all of MD; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
