Pauline Winslow Milburn, 96, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center in Frederick. Pauline was the daughter of Thomas and Lula Catherine Rinker. She was born in Leesburg, VA on March 15, 1922. She was the last of 14 children.
She was predeceased in death by her husband of 62 years, Claude S. Milburn, and a grandson, Jason Milburn.
Pauline worked beside her husband on the farm until her children grew up. Later, she worked at the Vindobona Nursing Home and also for Price Electric.
She was a faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene for over 70 years.
She is survived by three sons; James (Donna) of Hagerstown, Larry (Diana) of Hagerstown, and Gary (Linda) of Frederick. She has seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Pauline loved her Lord Jesus. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
The family wishes to extend a very special thanks and appreciation to the nurses and staff of the Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care that was given to Pauline during her stay there.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where a funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. Rev. Rob Merki will officiate.
Interment will be private.
