Ms. Pauline Louise Guay, 83, of Frederick, MD died March 25, 2016, following a brief illness.

Born January 25, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph Guay and Alice Sullivan Guay.

She graduated from Bingham High School in Maine in 1951 and moved to Washington, DC where she began her long career with the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company. She retired as a manager from Bell Atlantic after 33 years. She lived most of her life in Maryland, where she volunteered for many years and made many friends at Birthright of Frederick. She was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church in Walkersville and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She spent summer vacations in her beloved Maine at a special family cottage on Wyman Lake.

Ms. Guay is survived by her sister, Bernadette Lancaster; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers, Charles, Gerard, Francis, and Edward, and their dear spouses, Pauline O., Helen, Barbara and Ruth.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Interment will be at a later date in Maine.
