Mrs. Pauline Lorraine “Polly” (Draper) Fisher, of Thurmont, Maryland, died December 17, 2013.
She was the daughter of the late Katherine Draper Kugler and step-daughter of the late John Kugler. Born on May 27, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland, she graduated from Thurmont High School and Towson State College with a degree in elementary education. Following college, she taught in both Florida and Maryland, for over 35 years, retiring in 1988. She was a life-long Orioles and Ravens fan, watching every game she could. She also enjoyed baking, bowling and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of sixty years, David, and her daughter Kendi Patterson of Thurmont and aunt Emmiline and her husband Walker Zimmerman, Evelyn Lewis and Edna Seiss. She was preceded in death by her aunts Charlotte Blank, Isabel Baumgardner, Virginia Miller and uncle Stanley Draper.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont on Sunday, December 22, from 1-4:00 pm.
Interment will be private
