Pauline Virginia Burker, 85, of Boonsboro, passed from this life on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.
Born on May 4, 1932, in Leesburg, Virginia, was the daughter of the late Othor and Mary Harrison. Her husband, Marvin K. Burker, Sr. preceded her in death on August 25, 2002.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Rhodes and Jerry L. Burker, Sr. and wife, Shirley, all of Boonsboro, Rick Burker and wife, Cindy, of Hagerstown, Garry L. Burker of Smithsburg and Earl "Butch" Burker and wife, Debbie, of Lappans; Sarah Carlisle of Winchester, VA; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Pauline was preceded in death by her son, Marvin K. Burker, Jr.; and many sisters and brothers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2017 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.
A celebration of Pauline's life journey will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19 at the funeral home. Rev. Jack C. Payne will officiate. Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
