Paula Coats

Paula Virginia Coats, 78 of Walkersville, Maryland, passed away Saturday July 25, 2015 surrounded by her family.
She was born May 22, 1937 in Oldtown, Maryland to the late Paul and Olive Hardin.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert E. Coats Sr., as well as her children, Donna Littleton (Jeff), Robert E. Coats Jr. (Amy), Rick Coats Sr., and Pamela Coats (Tim).
She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Jeff Littleton Jr. (Taffanie), Stephanie Warthen (Gary), April Coats, Katie Coats, Holly Coats, and Rickie Coats Jr. As well as great grandchildren, Wes Warthen, Hailey Littleton, Nathan Littleton, Austin Warthen, Emily Littleton, and Shane Warthen. Also survived by her sister, Sandra Mackereth (Okey) of Oldtown, MD. She was preceded in death by her brother Gary Hardin.
She was dedicated to The Women of the Moose and held many of the top offices in her years of service.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick with Rev. Lloyd Fuss officiating. Inurnment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Frederick County Hospice.
