Mr. Paul W. Dorsey, 71, of Frederick, died Monday, September 10, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Melanie Dorsey. Born January 17, 1941, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Paul and Alma Hoy Dorsey.
Mr. Dorsey retired after17 years as a bus driver for Montgomery County Transportation. Most recently he worked at the Music and Arts.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Paul Palmer, Tyrone Dorsey, Tawanda Dorsey, Alonzo Dorsey and step-son Joseph Dorsey, brothers Russell Dorsey and Carroll Dorsey, sisters Pauline Walker and Carolyn Prather and many extended family members.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick from 10 am until service time at 11:00 a.m, Friday, September 21, with Rev. Gooden officiating.
Interment Fairview Cemetery.
