Paul Stull

Paul Augustus Stull, age 78, of Walkersville, Maryland, died May 2, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital with his loving family at his side. He was the husband of Marcelene Stull, they would have celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary this August. Paul was born in Utica on Sept. 8 ^th , 1936 to the late Glenn G. Stull and Golda M. Weddle-Stull-Utterback.

Paul graduated from Frederick High School in 1954. He was well known for his love of sports and was a star athlete in his senior year; playing soccer and basketball. He later played fast pitch softball for Ballenger Creek and was the coach for the Thurmont Bomberettes in 1977. He loved to fish and play pinochle with family and friends. He was a huge fan of Maryland sports teams, especially the Ravens and Orioles. Paul is known by all as a great friend and remembered for his witty sense of humor and corny jokes. He loved his family and they loved him; he will be missed by all.

Prior to Paul's passing, he had a very popular produce stand on Key Parkway of Frederick. The produce stand was Paul's passion and was maintained with the help of his children and grandchildren.

Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Joseph Stull (Elizabeth)of Inwood, West Virginia, David Stull (Beth) of Emmitsburg and Danny Stull (Sharon) of Taneytown, along with two daughters, Laura Breeden (Keith) of Middletown, Shelly Morgan (Donnie) of Littlestown, Pennsylvania; as well as 14 grandchildren: Joseph, Jason, Sarah, Rosemary, Jeremiah, Heidi, Brandin, Daniel, Todd, Jasmine, Robbie, Kristopher, Ashley, and Hailey; following 9 great-grandchildren: Layne, Shaymus, David, Cameron, Dominic, McKenzie, Gwenna, Layla and Khloe; three sisters: Kathleen Heim (Melvin) of Frederick, Carolyn Ann Holsinger (Kenton) of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and Sharon Sadler (Bruce) of Westminster. Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Dickie Stull, and grandson, John McGlaughlin Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday May 7, 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Oppossumtown Pike in Frederick with Rev. Lewis Bowers officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
