Paul D. Marbach

Paul David Marbach, 69, of Frederick, MD, passed away on Saturday, November 30th, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. 

Paul was born on July 12, 1955 to the late Audrey Handler and Arthur Marbach in Washington, DC. 

After graduating high school, Paul went to college at the University of Maryland where he met his wife, Jody, of 41 years. Paul went on to have two children; and three grandchildren. 

Paul was an avid bowler throughout his life and was known and loved within the local bowling community. He loved to read and had an extensive fantasy book collection. Paul loved entertaining friends, telling stories, making people laugh, and spending time with his kids, grandkids, and loving wife. 

Paul is predeceased by his sister, Jill. He is survived by his wife, Jody; children, Jen (Derrick), Alex (Sarah); and grandchildren, Benjamin, Lucy, and Calliope. 

A graveside burial will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, December 5th at the Judean Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
