Paul Lambert

Mr. Paul Harry Thomas Lambert, “Sonny” 74 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.

He was the husband of Esther Lambert, his wife of 54 years. They were married on October 13, 1956.

Born May 13, 1937 in Frederick he was the son of the late Paul W. and Cora E. Lambert.

Paul and his wife Esther owned and operated a dairy farm in the Utica area for more than 50 years. His family and farming were the joys of his life.

He was an active member of St. Paul’s Utica Lutheran Church.

In his younger years he pitched for fast pitch softball for many area teams. He enjoyed duck pin bowling and playing bingo.

In addition to his loving wife Esther he is survived by his four sons, Donald E. Lambert and wife Terry, Ronald L. Lambert and wife Mel, Norman W. Lambert and wife Kathy, Charles E. Lambert and wife Pat, 11 grandchildren, Matthew Lambert, Bradley Lambert and wife Jamie, Brittney Marshall and husband Kevin, Amanda Lambert and fiancé John Holler, Wesley Lambert and fiancé Kaylee Myers, Jessica Lambert, Kayte Lambert, Evan Lambert, Clint Lambert, Brady Lambert and Jennifer Lambert, three great grandchildren, Blake and Kinsley Lambert and Tristen Marshall, a brother, Franklin Lambert and wife Rev. Linda Lambert, four sisters, Francis Miss, Doris Hubbard, Patsy Feeser and husband Lloyd and Eva Jean Bollinger and husband Randy. He will also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his three sisters, Margaret Crutchley, Audrey Smith and Nettie Taylor.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Ave., Walkersville on Friday, July 15 ^th from 6:00-9:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 16 ^th at 10:00AM at the St. Paul’s Utica Lutheran Church, 10621 Old Frederick Road, Thurmont with the Rev. Albert K. Lane III officiating.

Interment will be in the St. Paul’s Utica Lutheran Church Cemetery,
