Paul Doody, Sr.

Mr. Paul L. Doody, Sr., 82 of New Market, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Northampton Manor Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Martha Lou Doody who passed away in 1992.
Born March 24, 1928 in Union Bridge he was the son of the late Eugene Doody, Sr. and Bertha Burns Doody.
He was a dairy farmer on his farm, Doody Lux Farm in New Market, MD.
He is survived by his seven sons, Paul Doody and wife Maryanne of Union Bridge, Jesse Doody and wife Kathy of New Market, MD, Wayne Doody and wife Debbie of Keymar, MD, David Doody and wife Carole of Union Bridge, Robert Doody and wife Sherrie of Woodsboro, Mike Doody and wife Elizabeth of Union Bridge and Craig Doody and wife Lisa of New Market, 21 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, and his brother, Roger Doody.
He is preceded in death by a son, George Doody, a daughter, Paulette Doody and his 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, August 20
th
from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 21
st
at 2:00 PM with Pastor Michael Mangold officiating.
Interment will be in Clustered Spires Cemetery in Frederick.
