Mr. Paul Donohue, 64, of Frederick, MD passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Citizens Care and Rehab Center.
Born on March 31, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Mr. Daniel Patrick Donohue and the late Mrs. Myrtle Elizabeth Morton.
Mr. Donohue was a graduate of Radnor High School class of 1966. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam where he was awarded two Purple Hearts after being injured in the line of duty. He retired from the United States Air Force after 33 years of Federal Civilian Service. He was an active member of Where’s George and The Casino Chip & Gaming Token Collectors Club. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Flyers. He enjoyed reading, watching westerns, spending time with his grandchildren and traveling, never letting the grass grow under his feet.
He is survived by his sons Paul Donohue, Jr. and wife Trish of West Deptford, NJ, Matthew Donohue and wife Christine, three grandchildren, Quentin, Renee and Jonas, all of Frederick, MD. Also survived by his brothers, Daniel (Skip), Timothy, William and Kenny.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 1-2 PM with a funeral service beginning at 2 PM. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
