Mr. Paul Edward Cangemi, 64 of Lovettsville, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. He was the husband of M. Sue Cangemi. His loving wife of 39 years.
Born November 26, 1949 in Washington, DC he was the son of the late Nicholas and Edie Cangemi.
Paul worked for 40 years in the printing industry. He was a Volunteer Firefighter for over 35 years in Lovettsville and he volunteered in many ways throughout the community.
He was an avid gardener and Redskin fan.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his three children, Vicki Roland and husband John, Mandy Crook and husband Damian and Nathan Cangemi and wife Gabriela, seven grandchildren, Jack, Maeve, Frances, Elizabeth, Hazel, Annabelle and Olive and one grandson on the way, Aiden. He will also be remembered by his nine brothers and sisters, Phyllis Davis, James Cangemi Jackie Frederick, Patty Funk, Judy Naquin, Bobby Cangemi, Mark Cangemi, Glen Cangemi and Anthony Cangemi and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating Paul's life will be held on Sunday, April 27th at 2:00PM at New Jerusalem Church in Lovettsville, VA with Rev. Elfie Finn-McKenzie officiating. At 3:00PM will be a service followed by a reception at the Lovettsville Volunteer Fire Company.
