Patsy Valentine
August 7, 1940 — February 27, 2020
Patsy Ann Valentine, 79, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert G. Valentine.
Born on August 7, 1940, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Ella M. (Houser) Jacobs.
Patsy attended Hagerstown High School. She was once employed by Newberry's Shoe Department Store and the Tortuga and Venice, later becoming a homemaker. Patsy was an avid Redskins fan and a Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan.
She is survived by her children Rick Valentine and wife Dee Ann of Hagerstown,MD, David Valentine of Martinsburg, WV and Debra Valentine-Smith (with whom she resided) of Boonsboro; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She will also be remembered by her best friend and caretaker, granddaughter Jennifer Gullace.
She was predeceased by her son Mark Valentine and her siblings Earl W. Black, Robert W. Jacobs, Virginia Kiser, June Henson and Lorraine Horner.
The family will receive friends at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 10-11AM where a celebration of Patsy's life journey will take place at 11AM. Patsy's nephew, Pastor Robert Stottlemyer will officiate.
Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown, Maryland.
