Patsy Stanley
June 23, 1935 — July 24, 2016
Patsy Louise (Rohrer) Stanley, 81 of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed away from complications after surgery, on Sunday, July 24, 2016, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, with her daughter by her side.
Born on June 23, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Grayson H. Miller and Rhoda Anna (Smith) Rohrer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Stanley, in 2003.
She was a 1954 graduate of Boonsboro High School.
She was the co-owner with her husband and daughter of Thomas and Sons Awning Company in Boonsboro.
Patsy will always be remembered as a devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah "Debbie" Kay (Stanley) Palmer and husband Donald of Boonsboro, and her brother, Nelson H. Rohrer, also of Boonsboro.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at the Boonsboro Cemetery in Boonsboro. Rev. R. Thomas Fralin, Jr. will officiate.
