Patsy J. Loudan, 74, of Knoxville, MD, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 16, 2016. She was the loving wife of the late Bobby Loudan, Sr., to whom she was married for 52 years at the time of his passing.

Born September 26, 1941 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Girtie (Swope) Sicura and her late birth parents, Horace "Mike" Smith and Nellie Smith Eiker. She lived on Mountain Road in Knoxville from the time of her adoption until her passing.

She obtained her high school diploma in 1986, along with her daughter, Denise, who also graduated that year. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, and doing for others. She loved photography, and saw life through the lens of her camera. Patsy was a member of Locust Valley Bible Church where she served her church family with love. For many years she served in the Cradle Roll every week during Sunday school. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, and has visited all 50 states as well as several other countries. She considered her special achievements in life to be accepting the Lord as her Savior and having a wonderful family.

She is survived by her three children, Teresa Justice of Frederick, Bobby W. Loudan, Jr. and wife, Brenda, of Knoxville and Denise Peterson of Knoxville; six grandchildren, Clint Coblentz, Elaine Moricle, Daniel Loudan, Rachel Ham, Hannah Salisbury and William Salisbury; four great-granddaughters, Alexis, Shelby, Madison and Mercedes; and one great-grandson, Tristan; brothers, D. Richard Smith and wife, Shirley, and Carroll Smith and wife, Donna; half siblings, Gene Eiker, Hazel Baker and Brenda Carl; and granddogs, Oliver and Lilah Joy.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Sarah; son-in-law, Scott Peterson; and several half siblings.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 20th at Locust Valley Bible Church with Dr. Curvin D. Stambaugh officiating.

Interment will follow in Locust Valley Bible Church Cemetery.
