Mrs. Patsy M. Langley, 65, of Mt. Airy, died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Jessie Langley for 33 years, prior to his death on July 1, 2013.
Born June 15, 1949 in Chilhowie, VA, she was the youngest of eight children born to the late Raymond Edgar and Mary Ruth Cullop.
Patsy worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Citizens Nursing Home and Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was an avid Redskins fan and loved watching Duck Dynasty.
She is survived by four children, Mary Shear (David), James Langley (Debbie), Keith Langley, and Kimberly Florcyzk; eight grandchildren, Jason, Alycia, Christopher, Corey, Ryan, Danielle, Kassidy, and Samantha; siblings, James W. Cullop, Harvey Cullop, Roscoe Cullop, Sarah Colson, Jolacy Roebuck and Dorothy Meadows; and many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by her former son-in-law, Michael Florczyk.
She was predeceased by a sister, Charlotte Henninger.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 20th from the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
