Patrick Martin Waldron, 58, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 9, 2018. Patrick was the husband of 36 years to Dodie Waldron.
Born on October 16, 1959 in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Brown) Waldron. Patrick graduated from Governor Thomas Johnson High School, class of 1977. He was employed with Martin Marietta Stone Quary in Frederick for 40 years, working as a loader and heavy equipment operator. Patrick loved his family and spent every moment possible making memories. He enjoyed golfing with his friends and watching sports. He was an active member of the Apples United Church of Christ, the Amvets in Thurmont and the Blue Ridge Sportsman Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Morgan Miller and husband David, Jordann Waldron and Tyler Stanton; granddaughters, Lakyn Stanton and Brooklyn Miller; siblings,
Kathy Waldron and Bill Waldron and wife Christine and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Waldron.
A Celebration of His Life’s Journey will be held at 1pm on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. Pastor Laura Robeson will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Thurmont Food Bank, 10 Frederick Road, Thurmont, MD 21788 or the Apples United Church of Christ, 7908 Apples Church Road, Thurmont, MD 21788.
