Mr. Hollern proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1969-73.  In 2004 he retired from the Montgomery County Department of Fire and Rescue Services after 28 years of service.  Pat was a member of the Retreads Motorcycle Group and The Washington, Virginia & Maryland Garden Railway Society.  He enjoyed building models and landscaping his garden railroad and caring for flowers in his greenhouse as well as building special projects for his family, especially his three grandchildren.  Pat delighted in planning and taking trips on his Harley and riding regularly with his pal Rowdy.  He loved the outdoors and farming with his buddy at Rocky Point Farm and Creamery.  He especially loved taking care of the “Baby Cows” everyday.

Pat was a loving and proud big brother to Linda, Sue, and Whitey.  He loved being a father and was elated when his “little Squirt” Terra was born and his most recent joys came from being Grandfather and making special memories with Kody, Jack, and Gillian.  Pat and his wife Linda had 42 years together full of life’s adventures and love.

Capps III of Jefferson; grandchildren Kody Ray, Jack Patrick, and Gillian Mae Capps also of Jefferson; sister Linda M.
