Patricia M. Salerno, 82, of Walkersville, died Tuesday, April 21 at Frederick Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Salerno was born in Staten Island, New York and had lived in New Jersey and Hawaii before moving to Walkersville, 30 years ago.
Mrs. Salerno is preceded in death by her parents John and Ruth Ford, brothers Richard Ford and Jon Ford, sisters Frances Bisignano and Christine Reguero. Also preceding Mrs. Salerno in death were her in laws Giuseppe and Caroline Salerno whom Mrs. Salerno cared for.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Sal, son Steve and wife Geri of Charleston WV, 2 grand children and 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving are brother Bill Ford of Michigan, sisters Jeanne Rost of PA, Marian (John) Nistad of PA, Barbara Patten of NJ, Ruth Thomason of NY, Nancy Veniscofski of NJ and Linda Ford of NY.

Services: Family will receive friends on Saturday April 25, 2009 from 2-5pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville, MD 21793. Interment will be private.
