Mrs. Patricia L. Burns, 74, of Walkersville, died peacefully in her sleep and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at her residence.
Born on February 16, 1935, in Mason City, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Willard Alvin and Rosalyn Rosenberg Trudeau. She was an account clerk at Summit County Children's Home in Ohio, retiring in 2001, after 32 years service.
Surviving are 5 children: Mark S. Burns and wife Kristine of Raleigh, NC and their children: Drew, Clint and Kyle, Lori J. Goldberg of Arnold, MD and her children: Sam, Stuart and Ethan, Lisa A. Bedrosian and husband Scott of Tampa, FL and their children: Josiah, Peter, Caleb, Esther, Luke, Grace, Daniel and Isaac, Marty Burns and wife Suzanne of Thurmont, MD and their children: Chad and Danielle, and Mathew J. Burns and wife Katherine of Frederick, MD and their children: Katie and Kelly; one great-grandson, Jackson Burns; a brother, Roger Trudeau and wife Ruthie of Ohio and a sister, Jackie Polansky of Texas.
Patricia was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie J. Burns.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM on Friday, May 1, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick.
Services:
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 2, with Rev. Harold B. Wright, II of Trinity United Methodist Church , Frederick officiating.
Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
