Patricia (Patti) Whelan
June 5, 1943- May 14, 2024

Patricia Whelan passed from this life on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 and is reunited with her husband, Andrew, and her great-granddaughter, Isla Mae Jarman, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Robert Whelan, and daughters, Kelly Whelan, Janel Zaluski, Lauren Jarman, and her one and only son-in-law, Todd Jarman. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Alexis Jarman, Todd Michael Jarman and his wife, Lauren, Kaitlyn Lorenz, Shane (Sydney Johnson) and Riley Zaluski, April, Andrew, Brian and Colin Whelan; great-grandchildren, Alaina Jarman and Luke Jarman. She is also survived by her sisters, Audrey Wisniewski and Betty Rutkowski as well as her dearly loved aunts Mary Hunter and Dorothy Bombar, and her siblings-in-law, Bernice and Matthew Nestor, Jane Cooney, and Marie Wall. She will be remembered fondly by her former sons-in-law, Bill Lorenz and Fred Birschbach whom she always considered to be “family” and her lifelong friend, Sharon Slesser.

Her children will receive friends and family at 1 pm on May 31, at Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick. Services to begin at 2 pm.  In place of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital
