Patricia (Pat) Ann Weddle, 78, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD
Born on November 16, 1938, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Francis Marion Crutchley, Jr. and Martha Elizabeth Baker Crutchley.
Pat was a lifelong member of the Centennial Memorial United Methodist Church, where she taught Jr. Church for Children for many years. She was also a dedicated member of the "Bykota" Sunday School class and had served as the Sunday School Administrator. She was a former member of Jobs Daughters, Bethel #28 of Frederick and the Women of the Moose # 347. For many years she hosted bus trips to various destinations under the name of "Weddle Tours". Pat was at her happiest when she was on a bus. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and cards, trips to the Casino and Longaberger Baskets. She was also an avid Elvis fan. She loved being with her family.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her former husband, Charles Austin (Sonny) Weddle.
She is survived by daughters, Denise Marie Crouse ( Jerry) and Elizabeth Jane Miller ( Larry); son, Jeffrey Allen Weddle (Gina); grandchildren, Andrew & Kevin Crouse, Mandi & Kelci Miller, and Brian & Michael Weddle; special cousin, Mary Ann Shell Freysz and her daughter, Rebecca Harris. She is also survived by other family members and special friends, Sharon Bayne, Nancy Blank, Charlotte Weller, Cindy Summers, Janice Calhoun, Linda Lyons, and Jeanette Snyder.
A celebration of Pat's life will be held 11:00am Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Stuaffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00am at the funeral home.
