Patricia Ann Tudor, 74, of Frederick passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014. She was born in McDowell County, West Virginia. As a young adult she moved to New Jersey where she spent the majority of her life living near the ocean with her family. She received a B.A. from Towson and a M.A. from Georgian Court University. Pat was a teacher at Central Regional High School in Bayhill, N.J. for 25 years. Particularly fulfilling for her was teaching English as a Second Language for the foreign born.
Pat was an avid gardener, world traveler and book lover who belonged to numerous book clubs for over 50 years. Upon moving to Frederick County, she became an active member of the Frederick County Senior Recreation Council where she held positions on the board including president.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Adrien Tudor; her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jim Fredericks of Oxford, N.J.; and daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Wade Brown of Woodsboro. She also leaves behind her greatest joy, her grandchildren Ryan and Becky Brown of Woodsboro. In addition, she is survived by one sister and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be a Family Visitation/Memorial Service celebrating Pat's life on Saturday, June 14th at Unity in Frederick, 1 W. Ninth St., Frederick, 301-846-0868 www.unityfrederick.org starting at 2:30. Pat was loved and will be dearly missed by her family.
