Patricia Spurrier

Mrs. Patricia S. Spurrier, 74, of Bowie, Maryland passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011. She was the wife of Michael K. Spurrier, her husband of 46 years.
Born April 23, 1937 in Waynesboro, PA she was the daughter of the late Cletus and Isabelle Summers.
She enjoyed chrocheting and had a natural artistic gift. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren and enjoyed her front yard chats with friends.
In addition to her husband she is survived by five children, Kristina Williams and husband Lt. Col. George, USMC (ret) of Fredericksburg, VA, Del Spurrier and wife Ricci of Olney, Mike Spurrier and wife Bonnie of Glen Burnie, Tim Spurrier and wife Maria of Gambrillis and Wendi Clough and husband Scott of Annapolis. She has 14 grandchildren, and one great-granchild.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Gary Summers.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 18 at New Hope United Methodist Church, 7 South Maryland Ave., Brunswick at 2PM. Pastor Noni Sigler will officiate.
Inurnment will follow at Park Heights Cemetery.
