Patricia Much Harrington, 73, of Stevensville, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 22, 1946 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Clyde Much and Lois Ellen (Witte) Much.
She was the wife of Michael Harrington, Sr., her husband of 52 years.
Pat graduated from Gardner School of Business in Washington, DC in 1966. She enjoyed a career in the Legal and Healthcare fields before eventually becoming a Stay-at-Home Mom.
She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, visiting her “happy place” at the beach, decorating for the holidays and occasional retail therapy. Her smile, laughter and sunny disposition made her an absolute joy to be around. Pat’s world revolved around her family whom she cared for and loved deeply. Even entering into her final days, she was remarkably clever and incredibly witty. She left a lasting impression to those that knew her and was always welcoming and kind to everyone she met.
In addition to her husband she is survived by daughter, Patricia Rhodes and husband, Stephen Rhodes; son, Michael Harrington and wife, Karin Harrington; grandchildren, William Harrington, Brockton Rhodes, Chase Harrington and Trevor Rhodes; sister, Judith Eicher and husband, Robert Eicher; nephew, Robert Eicher; niece, Juli Gottschalk; brother-in-law, J. Charles Harrington and wife, Mary Harrington.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy, MD. 21771.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will follow at the funeral home at 4:00 pm. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association.
